Monica Lisa Caballero

Monica Lisa Caballero is a native of San Antonio, Texas.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. She has practiced in the areas of Immigration, Criminal Defense, Juvenile Defense, Family, and Traffic Citation Defense. She spent several years in private practice and three years working as in-house counsel for The P.E.A.C.E. initiative, assisting victims of domestic violence. She was also an elected official for 12 years as a Bexar County Justice of the Peace. She has provided pro bono legal assistance to the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition, where she is on the Board of Directors and is a volunteer at the Brackenridge Park Conservancy.
She has been an attorney since 1997 and is currently practicing Family Law at Manuel Diaz Law Firm.
