JANEL OKAFOR

Attorney Janel Okafor is from Mesquite, Texas. She graduated from Baylor University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in History. Thereafter, she attended North Carolina Central University School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2017.

While in law school Attorney Okafor interned for a criminal defense firm and assisted juveniles in her law school’s juvenile law clinic course. After law school, she interned for the Office of the Attorney General Child Support Division and worked as a reviewing attorney and hearing officer for the Texas Workforce Commission. Attorney Okafor became licensed to practice law in the state of Texas in October 2019.

She is currently part of the legal team at Manuel Diaz Law Firm, focusing primarily on civil law.
